The Fulham Palace is a beautiful setting to hold your wedding and the wedding reception, the venue is steep in history dating back hundreds of years. You can read more about the history of the palace here. There is a option of having a marquee on the side of the palace so you can have over 100 guests attend your reception. The staff and event team are really friendly but also professional so you are in good hands. Before entering the palace there is a courtyard so if the British weather behaves itself then it great setting to host your drink reception. And if the weather isn't great then there is plenty of options inside for guests to have a drink and canapés after the wedding ceremony.
There are two lovely churches nearby, All Saints and St Marys, so your wedding guests can easily walk from the either churches to the palace after the wedding. All Saints church is situated inside Bishop Park and has a direct pathway through its graveyard leading directly to the palace. And St Marys is just over Putney Bridge which is only a 15 minutes or so walk to the palace. There is a option of wedding taking place at the palace so you can also have a civil ceremony at the venue and there is also a small chapel where you can have a blessing if you wish.
